Dear Scrapbookers,

BailiTeal Farm Retreat Center on U.S. Hwy 80 near Grand Saline in East Texas offers a large cropping facility (1500 sq. ft.) Up to twenty-two scrapbookers can be accommodated with six feet of table space each and comfortable upholstered office chairs. There are two restrooms and a kitchen in the building and a large porch with rockers across the front.

A minimum of twelve scrapbookers may reserve The Gathering. With twelve paid in The Gathering, there is no charge for the consultant/organizer. We also have a two-story house (The Cedar) with an open living/dining room and kitchen area downstairs that can accommodate up to seven scrapbookers. With six paid, the seventh person pays only half price.

Cozy overnight accommodations are in three separate houses that include one suite and nine guest rooms with private baths. Together the Cedar House and the Red Barn Guesthouse can accommodate up to seventeen guests in queen and twin beds. We also have two guest rooms with private baths upstairs in the Main House.

At BailiTeal Farm, guests can experience the East Texas of yesteryear with a unique blend of country ambiance and contemporary comfort. Located only 12 miles from the world famous 1st Monday Trade Days in Canton, we are near numerous antique and craft shops. To enjoy our own peaceful atmosphere, guests may relax by the swimming pool or walk the nature path through fields and woodlands to enjoy a variety of wildlife, birds and seasonal wildflowers on our 20-acre farm.

A weekend retreat includes breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and evening meals Friday and Saturday, as well as soup or nachos and sandwiches for lunch on Saturday. BailiTeal has had some groups make reservations just on the reputation of our gourmet dinners.
